Week Calendar

A special bonding time with stories, songs, and rhymes. This program is intended for children ages 0-2 and their caregiver/s who are looking for a traditional storytime. This is the perfect introduction to storytime for babies.

Stories, songs, and activities for children ages 3-5 and their caregiver/s. Siblings are welcome to attend. 

The 5th Wednesday of the month is Movie Day for kids at the library.  Ages 6 to 11 can bring their favorite stuffy and we'll provide the movie and popcorn.  Movie will be announced in mid-January.

Tweensday, ages 9 to 11, starts Wednesday, January 8, 3:00-4:00 PM, and goes through March 19.

Meets in the Creative Classroom.  Registration is not required.  

Join us to discover STEM meteorology careers while performing higher-level experiments, all having to do with winter!

Bring the snow inside by making a decorative paper snowflake garland. 

Join us for a discussion series on the book The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee, which will be lead by Dr. Rainey Briggs. At each meeting, we will discuss a few chapters in-depth.

An evening storytime for children ages 0-5 and their caregiver/s. We'll share a few stories, songs, and a snack. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal to join in the fun. 

For their January meeting, the Lit Wits Book Club will discuss the book West with Giraffes by Lynda Ruteledge . The group will meet on Tuesday, January 28 at 6:30 PM in the W.R and A.

Come and discuss any book you’ve read, are reading, or want to read. No pressure to read a specific book. This will be a safe place to discuss books and other literary topics for gen z adults. There will be snacks.
