Let's Talk Books at BASCO is a monthly space to discuss the books we've read and learn about new books coming out! People should come ready to chat about the books they've loved and hated and give recommendations.

Come and create with Legos, Keva Planks or large soft blocks.  Bring a friend or make new ones.

Also, you can have a timed turn at Minecraft on our XBox, if you bring your own library card!

Just Dance on Nintendo Switch is a guaranteed good time at the library!  Tweensday is for ages 9 to 11.

Meets in the Creative Classroom.

Join us for a live action version of the classic mystery game!

Clues will be hidden throughout the library, stop in anytime between 5:00-8:00pm and work at your own pace to find out who is guilty!

We will be adding color and details to the figures that we 3D printed. 

Zach Ott and Gretchen Roltgen will play a concert of lively and eccentric selections arranged for one piano, four hands. 

Put on your pajamas, gather up a stuffed animal friend, and join us for a special storytime event! Following stories and a snack, your stuffed animal will be invited to spend the night at the library.

The annual spooky tradition lives on! Join us for our yearly game of Mysterium, a game like Clue, but the players are psychics trying to communicate with a ghost for clues. Treats will be included!

The 5th Wednesday of the month in October is Scooby Day! at the library.  Ages 6 to 11, 1:30-2:25pm.

We have multiple Clue board games so we can all play at the same time.  Snacks provided.

Drop by the library for some afternoon game time! You are welcome to bring your game of choice or play one we have on hand. Tea and coffee provided. 

Board meeting for the Baraboo Area Literacy Council.  This meeting is open to the public.

Come read a story with Cookie, certified Pet Partners Read With Me Dog ! Each reader will have 10 minutes to read a story with this sweet, furry pal. All readers must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

We'll discover who is the champion UNO player at our first ever UNO tournament. 

Join us for Baraboo's oldest literary club! Participants take turns presenting on their chosen topic within a broader theme. The theme for 2024-2025 is "Not everything is as it seems." New members, please register once to get on our email list.
