Week Calendar

Songs, stories, and early literacy bonding experiences intended for children ages 0-2 and their adult. Siblings are welcome to attend. 

A short storytime followed by activities focused on early childhood development. This program is intended for children ages 3-5 and their adult. Siblings are welcome to attend. 

Join us for an afternoon of games, community, and fun! You’re welcome to bring a game of your choosing or play what we provide. Tea and Coffee will be served.

Location: Upstairs Reading Room (near periodicals and the book arch).

Pokemon Club, ages 6 to 11, will meet the 2nd Wednesday of October and November, 2024.  No experience necessary. You can trade, play, show-off your collection, or just hang out with other Pokemon fans.

Kids ages 9 to 11,  can learn to make a bead animal key chain.  You choose your animal design and we provide the materials.

Registration is not required. 

Meets in the Creative Classroom, 3-4pm.

We'll bring the supplies, you bring your creativity! A wide variety of art supplies will be available and teens can create anything they choose. 

Share any book you’ve loved recently with other teen readers, enjoy a snack and book-related craft or game.

Board meeting for the Baraboo Area Literacy Council.  This meeting is open to the public.

Board meeting for the Friends of the Library. This meeting is open to the public.  If you would like to address the board and be added to the agenda, please contact the Library Director at least 24 hours before the meeting. 

Join us for our monthly Dungeons & Dragons game. New players and all experience levels welcome. Please bring a character sheet if you have one. 

Board games are fun for the whole family.  On the 2nd Tuesday of the month, families are welcome to hang out and play some games.  We will have a selection, or you can bring your favorite from home.  Drop-in between 6-7:30pm.

Junk Journal: A journal or book often made with found and recycled materials to be used as a way to collect and record memories, thoughts, ideas, and inspiration.

Join us for a Lego night just for adults! It will be a time to just free build and design whatever Lego master piece your imagination comes up with. There will be materials and resources provided. 

Join us for an after hours event full of frights and spooks. Owen Burri, a local actor, will become Poe himself and share a few of his famous stories. 

Themed refreshments will be served for each story.
