Week Calendar

A representative from Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin will be available to answer questions about the program and get people signed up for the program.

A gentle and quiet bonding time with stories, songs and rhymes. Perfect for babies who aren't quite mobile yet. 

An upbeat Babygarten with rhymes, bounces, and dancing for those little ones that are movers and shakers. 

A storytime focused on music and movement. Participants should be ready to dance and move. This program is intended for children 0-5 and their caregiver/s.

Kids ages 6 to 11.  A snack is provided.  

Who Would Win? Book Club, ages 6 to 11, Tuesday's from 3:30-4:30pm.  We will read each book together, then we will do a fun activity related to the book.  

Registration is not required. 

We will be discussing The Enigma Game by Elizabeth Wein, have a snack, and make a craft.  

The library’s Spanish Conversation Hour is a space to practice speaking Spanish in a friendly, supportive environment. Note that a Spanish teacher will not be present.

This is the regular monthly meeting of the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library board.  This meeting is open to the public.

A local chess expert will be on hand to help tweens and teens ages 10-17 learn how to play chess. Join us to learn the game, or to be challenged by an expert player. 

A local Dungeon Master will host one- shot campaigns for teens. No experience needed, but bring a character sheet if you already have a character. (5:30 PM -7:45 PM) 

The Fortnightly Literary Club started in 1889 and has met continuously since its formation. A theme is chosen for the year, and members give presentations on the topic at meetings. This year’s theme is round or rectangular.

The Tuesdays with Murder Book Club is for anyone who likes reading mysteries. The May meeting of this club will be on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 PM in the upstairs program room at the library.

The Library's Chess Night for Adults is a weekly space to drop in and play chess. Bring your own chess set or use one of the library’s. All experience levels welcome!

The library's Craft/Tea Time is a weekly drop-in workspace for adults to bring their own craft projects to work on. The library will also provide a limited variety of supplies (and tea, of course!)
