Join us for a movie on the library big screen that the whole family can enjoy! We will be watching Land Before Time which is rated G and should end around 4:00 PM. A snack will be provided at the halfway point in the movie.

Are you a teen who loves puzzles, riddles, or Dungeons and Dragons? Join us for the Puzzles and Perils Puzzle Adventure Book Club, where we'll read one chapter of Puzzles and Perils aloud, and solve puzzles as we work through the campaign.

Imagine when the dinosaurs once lived, and plant your own dinosaur inspired garden planter. Intended for families. Register each child individually. 

A traditional story time focusing on teaching early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, and books. This program is intended for children ages 0-2. Siblings are welcome to attend.

Create a Dinosaur Planter! We'll have dinos and succulents for teens to decorate and take home. 

For July's meeting, Lit Wits will be reading The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon.

An active story time with stories, songs, and movement followed up with a sensory or process art activity. This program is intended for families with children. 

Create pinch pots during this messy program. Explore different texture techniques and slip glazing. Creations can be kiln fired and returned at a later date. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Intended for tweens ages 9-11.

First Monday of the Month

1:00-3:00 PM in the Historic Reading Room

Join a table of mahjong and get to know other local players. We follow American Mahjong League rules. 

Board meeting for the Baraboo Area Literacy Council.  This meeting is open to the public.

An evening storytime intended for children and their caregivers. We'll share a few stories, songs, and a snack. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal to join in on the fun.

Test your skills at various balancing and speed games. Intended for children ages 6-11. 

Use the library's iPads to play Jackbox. We'll vote on the games we'll play.

Teens love Craft Cafe! They get to use anything in the supply closet to create anything they can think of.

Board meeting for the Friends of the Library. This meeting is open to the public.  If you would like to address the board and be added to the agenda, please contact the Library Director at least 24 hours before the meeting. 

Artist Trading Cards, known as ATCs in the art world, are small pieces of art created to be traded. The small size makes it a portable way to share artwork with others.

Did you know that Wisconsin once had volcanoes? Did you know Devils Lake once had icebergs? Do you know what a kettle, kame, drumlin or moraine refers to?
