Join us for Teen Dungeons and Dragons. No experience required. Due to the nature of game play and the demand, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND SPOTS ARE LIMITED. TEENS MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

Talk about what you’ve been reading, watching, listening to, playing, and experiencing. This is a safe and casual time to socialize, talk about media, and meet other gen z adults.

Celebrate Valentine's Day a little bit early with Baraboo Swing Dance! Attend a free one-hour lesson and learn the basics of swing dance. Feel free to dress up!

A traditional story time focusing on teaching early literacy skills through songs, rhymes, and books. This program is intended for children ages 0-2. Siblings are welcome to attend.

Make your own instant ramen! A wide variety of flavors and add-ins will be available, and we'll also watch a movie while we enjoy our delicious food.

This is the regular monthly meeting of the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library board.  This meeting is open to the public.

The Tuesdays with Murder Book Club is for anyone who likes reading mysteries. Please fill out the one-time registration form below to get on the mailing list for meeting updates:

Fortnightly is Baraboo's longest-running social club. This club focuses on intellectual discussion and presentation. One member of the group presents on the topic of their choice on the larger theme.

An active story time with stories, songs, and movement followed up with a sensory or process art activity. This program is intended for families with children ages 3-5. 

Use simple techniques to create amazing art. This program is intended for children ages 6-8.

Every child will get their own Lego waffles to either make a creation, or just eat! Toppings will be provided. This program is intended for tweens ages 9-11. 

Teens are welcome to talk about any romance (or anti-romance) book/graphic novel/audiobook they've read recently, have snacks and make a craft. 

Ms. Beth will have a mini booktalk presentation on the theme to share.

Let's Talk Books at BASCO is a monthly space to discuss the books we've read and learn about new books coming out! People should come ready to chat about the books they've loved and hated and give recommendations. Coffee will be provided.

Stop by the library for a puzzle swap! Do you have a puzzle you've already completed and no longer want? Come and exchange it for another puzzle.

One of our teens' favorite programs, Craft Cafe gives teens the opportunity to work on uncompleted projects from previous programs, or make something completely new. The craft cabinet opens, and teens get to create anything they can think of.

Experiment, explore, and enjoy the wonders of ice. This program is intended for children age 6-8.

A wide variety of beads will be available tor tweens to create with: seed beads, pony beads, charms, and perler beads. This program is intended for ages 9-11. 

A special event at the library to celebrate Pokemon. More details to come.

January through May, teens can either work together or on their own to create their own Rube Goldberg machine. Each month, we'll focus on a different simple machine and think about how to incorporate them into our larger project.
