RIDERS FOR RACE AMITY: WISCONSIN YOUTH BICYCLED FROM MADISON TO MONTGOMERY

Who and What Is It? 

  •  A group of eight teens from Wisconsin and their adult companions undertook a bicycle journey from Madison, WI to Montgomery, AL stopping in 10 cities to promote social justice and inter-racial friendship
  • They are returning to Baraboo to share their experience, express appreciation to the Baraboo Community for their support and facilitate further conversation.

Program/Agenda

  •      Interactive presentation by the Riders
  •     Q&A with the Riders
  •     Facilitated Conversation among Attendees Similar to that Employed on the Ride
  •     Next Steps in the Community
