CANCELED - Due to staffing changes, we will no longer be offering the Books Afoot Walking Book Club.
---
The Books Afoot Walking Book Club is a chance for you to get outside and get moving all while talking about books! The club will normally meet on the first Thursday of the month during temperate weather months from 9:30-10:00 AM (note that this is a different date/time than last year). Each meeting will feature a different reading theme, such as historical fiction, young adult books, books by Indigenous authors, etc. Meetings will be composed of a roughly half hour walk through a designated location while participants can chat about the book(s) they read on the theme, or about the theme itself more generally.
In July, we'll be meeting on Thursday, July 11 at 9:30 AM (the second Thursday of the month because of the library's closure for Independence Day on the first Thursday). Our theme for July will be Wisconsin/Midwest Authors. We'll meet at Mary Rountree Evans Park (701 2nd Ave, Baraboo) and walk north on the River Walk.
Please fill out this one-time registration form to get on the mailing list for meeting updates. In the event of poor weather, we will cancel the meeting.
