Event Details

The Books Afoot Walking Book Club is a chance for you to get outside and get moving all while talking about books! The club will normally meet on the first Thursday of the month during temperate weather months from 9:30-10:00 AM (note that this is a different date/time than last year). Each meeting will feature a different reading theme, such as historical fiction, young adult books, books by Indigenous authors, etc. Meetings will be composed of a roughly half hour walk through a designated location while participants can chat about the book(s) they read on the theme, or about the theme itself more generally.

We're starting the club back up again for the year in April, meeting on Thursday, April 4 at 9:30 AM. Since April is National Poetry Month, our theme for April will be Poetry. We'll meet in front of the library and walk around the neighborhood.

Please fill out this one-time registration form to get on the mailing list for meeting updates. In the event of poor weather, we will cancel the meeting.
